Scale and scalemates
I didn’t thing there would be that big of a difference when it came to slightly enlarging the template i was using to make my plushies. Lo and behold…GIANT PLUSHIE HEAD!
I think i’m gonna work in this size from here on in. It definitely makes for a meatier plush. *laughs*
I really need to finish this buddy already. Stupid Pushmo!!!

Holy crap, this little guy took a while to do. I think the next one that I do will be a bit larger. having to cut out the small leg pieces was a bitch and a half.
Forgive the mess…i’m kind of a slob when it comes to my crafts. Ha ha.
I think it looks fine without the mouth. *smiles*

Holiday Musings
Ever notice how the oddest financial pitfalls tend to rear their ugly faces around the holidays? It seems that Kismet (Fate, Karma, Ridley…call it what you will) is not with out a sense of sardonic humor. I guess all one can do is roll with the tide and hope that things turn out well, right?

Sadly, I haven’t been able to finish this little guy as quickly as i’d hoped. Leave it to a scheduele of 1 am graveyard shifts to kill the creative mood. *laughs*
I finally had a chance to finish his head. for being a first time, i’m pretty surprised with how it’s turning out. I hope it’s recipient will like it.

Apparently I just bought a sewing machine that has been universally regarded as a Piece Of Shit. Regardless of that fact, I don’t have the money to purchase a more well regarded model.
Threading a bobbin on this thing is next to impossible!

Gamzee scalemate wip
Here’s my third scalemate in production. This one is a gift for a friend of a friend. At first i was just going to just do a generic color motif to simulate Gamzee’s, but it just seemed to take on a presence of it’s own.
I can’t wait to see what the finished product looks like. *laughs*

Crafty craft time!
I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of Homestuck related crafters out there, so I felt i should share my contribution to the fold. *laughs* This was my first attempt at a plushie and to be totally honest it didn’t turn out too bad. Pyralspite was a gift to a dear friend and fellow Homestuck. Many thanks to Metroidhat’s awesomely simple (though now defunct) tutorial.
